Where do my union dues go?
Below is an explanation of how your union dues are
divided up and who they go to. As of
this date,

The amounts listed are on a per member per month basis.

the National By-Laws, these dues will go up relative to any pay raises that are
secured for us by the
national

This
part of our dues will remain constant until changed at a national convention.
National

Local
Division
.
$ 32.05 $ 32.05
This
is the amount that stays here at the local level to use to do business and can
only be changed at
a regular
meeting.
Total
dues
..$ 98.73 $
77.35
The above amount does not
include any Political Action Committee (PAC) contributions which is strictly
voluntary. I would urge all members
to take a look at
their PAC contributions and increase them if they can afford it. This money is used
to lobby congress, just like the carrier does, to persuade them to vote labor
friendly.

local dues are spent attend a division meeting.
